I wouldn't be so sure about putting down Australian Shareholders' Association as your proxy because SSN isn't in their list of companies. From their website:
"The Association is unable to attend all meetings but selects those companies where it believes it can have the most impact. These companies are listed on our website www.asa.asn.au under COMPANIES"
To me it sounds like using them as your proxy might be fruitless for companies they don't yet attend meetings for. Can anyone confirm if this is the case?
