Hi Saintzaa, I quote "The Association is unable to attend all meetings but selects those companies where it believes it can have the most impact. These companies are listed on our website www.asa.asn.au under COMPANIES"
To me it sounds like using them as your proxy might be fruitless for companies they don't yet attend meetings for. Can anyone confirm if this is the case? "
I am a member of the ASA and they do try to monitor the top 200 companies in the ASX. However I know there are ASA members in WA and I will e-mail Vas Kolesnikoff the CEO next week and see if he has any members who may be SSN shareholders and would be willing to attend the meeting. I have also brought the remuneration package to the attention of their policy and research officer but have not had a response as yet.
