Long time. I feel that you are correct in that the FOCUS deal needed very thick eye glasses to stay focused after the first few successes.
Appears that my comments from several months ago may be coming to pass. Their string of 10-12 straight dry holes (or essentially so) is just about to have a head on collision with the GOM normal production decline curves.
If you can't find the stuff or be sharp enough to buy it and make money, life sure gets tough quickly. Based on the decisions we've seen over the last two & a half years or so I suspect that they still believe they have too many Ops and G&G personnel. Bringing on board more economists is the only way they can figure to save it.
