Jack I admire Scott's bravado, it's his failure to launch that irritates me. But he's one in a conga line of uninspiring electeds. Rolling up the sleeves should be left with pollies who are physically fit IMO; he should be advancing himself as a consided pipe and slippers kind of oracle.
He was in party loyalty territory of the BCC this morning announcing a $1000 emergancy relief for adult victims of the flood. I'm not sure that was a good move considering many are facing considerably more in financial losses and the $1k would be seen as a value award.
Pretty tough gig being a Premier or PM knowing every move will be interpretted as something it isn't.
