hi centro, i don't think the market expects it. i know i would be impressed if they did manage it. bnb is a fairly extreme case. Australian banks have dodged alot of subprime - even JPMorgan in the US has too - still getting punished though. personally, i don't like the fact that they forecast to make all the money in the second half (somewhere over the rainbow...). However, the deals in the pipeline for the next 12 months have been worked on prior to the current mess. My concern would be 09/10 FY.
