Put simply unions support labour politics & do deals with major corpartions like the former coles who supported the push to not pay employees penalty rates on public holidays. Unions certainly do not support their workers they are just another level of the labour government & if you pay union fees you are supporting the labour government.
Anyone that disagrees name one union that supports the liberals. Its a great con job on the stupid, actually i'm looking for an easy job how do i get to work for a union
