just who or what is running our share price?, page-3

no doubt you are right about the big boys. That goes for any stock. But they also factor in the fundamentals. Lynas is now a fundamentally good stock, because they are up and running.

Everything you say is right if a trifle pessimistic. But,

A further fundamental is the fact of the Japanese agreement. This must have been a long time in gestation. I doubt if the company would have made the announcement, unless they were sure of their ability to efficiently control the 100s of chemical processes, both in terms of quality and environmentally.

By the same token, I doubt if a major Japanese corporation, with the tentative blessing of the Japanese Government, would also have made a major economic and indeed political announcement, without a due diligence of Lynas ability to perform.

The primary concern must be the production of the oxides and pure elements. I would guess the tailored products, would come in due course, and might be financed from the then current cash flow.

I hope this creates more optimism than 80 minutes on the tarmac. I believe you will soon be in the air with Deutsche Bank and JP etc.

    Happy hunting
