Sorry if this point has been discussed already on HC, but can someone tell me where Anglo stands regarding its ability to negotiate a JV with Nkwe for Garatau ? Can it do so while X-Strata has the option at the moment, or does it have to wait until the BFS with X-Strata is ( finally )released plus 90 days while they decide whether to exercise it ?
... and further, is X-Strata likely to want to execise that option ( even if it likes the BFS ) while Anglo can still possibly hold up proceedings for at least another 6 months by appealing the current PAJA outcome should it be negative to them ?
Apologies if I haven't got all the facts straight in this matter. I've been trying to work out exactly where all the parties involved stand on this, but don't know if I've got it all correct.
