Thanks for this information, miningnut, but I'm having trouble loading the story - maybe the server is down or overloaded so I haven't read it.

From your heading I take it that Sino Gold and Goldfields are possibilities for a JV but the merger possibilities are interesting too.

I wonder whether OZL may not be considering a merger.
-they are very cashed up and OGC would be a mere morsel and they could afford to fund Didipio and pay out the gold hedge book as well.
-they all have Melbourne offices, O, Z and OGC
-looks like a pretty good fit
