The GNS announcement "Analyst Briefing Notes" on 27/2/2009 said clearly in black and white that "to select a Joint Venture partner by **April** 2009".

But in less than 2 months, Mr Gay now talked to The Australian (16/4) in another tune,

"We are down to three (potential partners) and we will probably be down to two by the **end of April**, ... And by the **end of June**, we would expect to have a memorandum of understanding commence with one player."

So, hurray, the final selection of the JV partner has delayed by at least another 2 months to the **end of June**!

I reckon the recent bullish talks about the pulp mill are all hot air, which only covers up the failure of the mill, which may never be built at all!
