Motley Fool published an article about Nickel Industries, drawing attention to the fact it was in the green despite releasing its financials showing they had a 71% drop in profit. They wrote "This ASX nickel stock is up 17.6% year to date and up 7.05% over the past 12 months". They also mentioned that they have an electric smelter and produced 1743 tonnes of Nickel Matte for the year along with their nickel pig iron. The electric smelter is likely a suitable source of feed stock for the refinery in Vietnam for ESG reasons. Maybe they're in the data room too at the moment. It makes too much sense to process Australian nickel into battery materials in the low cost jurisdiction of Vietnam.
