I have found with other companies that it can take up to two to three weeks after finalisation the issue before they issue refunds from oversubscriptions.

It is always a risk of apply for potential extra shares than your guaranteed entitlement that, not only do you not receive the extra shares, but also have your funds tied up for a longer period not earning anything when they could be invested elsewhere. I guess it is part of the process of weighing up the various risks of apply for such shares.

The same thing happened to me with the HZN SPP in June. Sold HZN shares at a loss in expectation that they would have a capital raising at a lower price. They did but it was a SPP not a rights issue. Unfortunately, I didn't even keep a small holding to cover such a possibility. (You live and learn). To get axcess to the SPP I purchase the smallest quantity I could on another account I had spare funds on. However, only received 5% of my application because (a) didn't previously hold shares on that particular account, or (b) the small amount I bought was to small to make elligible for 100% of the SPP allocation. To add insult to injury I had to wait two to three weeks to get my refund!
