FWIW
Read this quote from the Watchtower magazine:
"The evidence of the holy spirit in the quality and content of the writings published by the Watchtower Society should be the thing that satisfies, that convinces, together with a comparison of these things with the inspired Word of God, the Holy Scriptures." (Watchtower, Oct. 1, 1959, p. 607-608)
You see, Jehovah's Witnesses view the Watchtower magazine as a revelation of God, the words of prophets in the 20th century... inspired. No they will kick up a fuss and even deny that the Watchtower is inspired, but a quick reading of their magazine's own words, will convince you! So the bottom line is this, if their "God directed" magazine says trinity is pagan... they have no incentive to question it! Too bad, that's why they teach the false doctrine!
mce-anchorHow does Watchtower continue to deceive Jehovah's Witnesses?
1. Jehovah Witnesses do not understand the difference between Modalism and Trinity.
Jehovah's Witnesses really don't understand the difference between Trinity and Modalism. In fact Modalism is just as Anti-Trinitarian as Arianism (JW view). But in utter deception, the Watchtower applies Modalistic interpretations to a passage, then refutes it. What the average JW's doesn't understand, is that Trinitarians apply the identical logic to refute the identical thing: Modalism. Jehovah's Witnesses constantly confuse modalism and Trinity doctrine!
2. Jehovah Witnesses do not understand the difference between 1st Century Biblical Trinity vs. 4th century Creedal trinity.
