GC, thanks for those links. Very obscure though and under the radar! You would have thought it would warrant it's own ASX release!!
I have had several texts from Liam saying he is still waiting for a response from the board but believes JW final directors notice will be released today and that as far as he knows St George only ever got some of A1's Narnoo tenements with the other ones with prospective gold and such remaining with A1. When he gets an official answer he will get in touch.
I did however speak to Albert. He is NOW going to look at the St George prospectus and try and sort out what the deal is. He gave the impression that things had been done in the past as JW saw fit and the change that has happened in the board should have happened long ago! He said he has prepared the final notice but it is awaiting approval as nothing is now issued without approval.
I got the feeling that we should not be expecting any startling or reassuring announcements before the September quarterly. Things are going OK but everything is undergoing a full and thorough review. He also said that once everything is reviewed and they all know where things are at and where they are going then the board has every intention of keeping the market fully informed of their operations.
According to Albert JW still holds all his shares but his wife holds none. They are waiting to see when she disposed of them and he said that if it was done on the day of his resignation then 'That would seem like a pretty silly thing to of done' but it is yet another thing they have to work through.
I do get the impression that this board has fallen into disorganised whole that they are climbing out of but it will take some time and they are doing all they can to ensure the companies success and that they achieve to their full potential. Hopefully they can and all will be fine!
