1 Cor 8;6
6 yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.
"1Cor 8:6 is the extended shema in the New testament (Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel:The LORDour God,the LORDis One.), you cannot take your argument all that far because God is also called Lord so one does not exclude the other, with this verse in particular the Greek speaking and reading Jews would have read eis Kyrios one LORD"
NO such thing as EXTENDED and backed by Jesus -> This now is the eternal life that they should know You (Father), the Only True God and whom you have sent, Jesus Christ (The Son of this only true God).
OT MUST interpret the NT -> Hear, O Israel; Yehowah our God is ONE Yehowah.
Jesus is Yehowshuwa.
So the corruption of changing Yehowah to Lord and not carrying the name Yehowah over into the NT, is clearly confusing you little sheep, or is that goats as they will eat (swallow) anything?
"God is also called Lord so one does not exclude the other,"
Yes he is called Lord in his own singular right, but is referenced as such, no where as many times as the corrupted Bibles show.
Jesus is also a Lord (under The Lord) in his own right = 2 singular Lords, persons so to speak, just as 1 Cor CLEARLY shows.
There is not a separate Lord the Holy Spirit as that is the God and Father - Yehowah, the Spirit of Truth that would glorify Jesus and we know it was the Father that glorified him = Father and Holy Spirit are one in the same.
