The trinity existed within the believers that came out of the Roman belief,this concept was borrowed from paganism.

The context here is that of who you worship,Jesus said the Jews concept was correct,here was Jesus perfect chance to say,you all have things wrong,worship God the father God the son God the holy spirit,he didn't,because this concept didn't appear until hundreds of years later,a formulation of men using paganism to explain the concept of God,this concept is totally different from the Jewish concept.
We now have people in our time in our culture trying to rehash the peoples culture and God to suit their new theology to fit around modern denominations and Catholicism.
