Here are my thoughts:
The DOW future is 7 in the green.
Lynas's trade volume is around 15m to 20m on moderate positive announcement and on major announcement the volume is between 35 to 60m.
As it stands now, we still have another 5 to 10m shares to exchange hands.
We have tried to break 14c twice.
LYSCF will be in the green tonight to catch up to Lynas, but it has to finish below the close price for lynas to perform tomorrow as well. in other words if lynas closes at 14.5c, the LYSCF will close at 14c or similar.
The market has viewed the announcement as positive. The announcement came after hours last night. Lynas was down LYSCF, and LYI, but not LYSDY which put on small percentage.
That is the true manipulations. This way the big players in Australia do not miss out and collect the shares cheaply at the open. Whereas on the DOW, being in the red or slightly up, gave the impression to ordinary prople that the news are no welcomed. So people sell the shares and the big players in USA and in Europe collect the shares cheaply and tonight, you watch the green movement. I have seen that happening before when the announcement comes after hours.
In short, if the dow future after 2pm is rising, let say above 20, then in my opinion, we could close at 14 or 14.5c.
