It is unlikely RIO will let CGNPC take EXT without a struggle.
They have no other ore supply for the rapidly depleting Rossing mine. Apart from engaging in JV discussions, RIO seems to be waiting for someone else to kick off the M & A but you could expect them to compete vigorously.
