As of midday GMT, the Kalahari share price had climbed modestly on AIM. Up by 3.50 pence to 248 pence, a 1.4% rise. But still 40 pence below the CGNPC offer price. Quite a lot of trading but mainly relatively small amounts-biggest trades included a buy of 42,000 shares mid-morning.
J P Morgan Asset Mngt is a buyer but Ambrian Partners (hedge fund) is a seller. And DB is continuing to trade actively.
Another poster on here (sorry forgotten who) took me to task on this saying DB was only registering transactons on behalf of CGNPC.
However, Deutche's disclosures, made under Rule 8.5 of the City takeover code, are stated to be "dealings by exempt principal trader", not on behalf of anyone else. That reads to me that these are transactions by Deutsche, no? Anf for what its worth the transactions are shortings.
