    Kalahari's share price on AIM had risen to 302 pence as of 1.15pm GMT in London.

    So clearly investors anticipate China's bid will be trumped.
    Won't take much for a rival bidder to beat the 5% extra value to void China's offer and avoid Kalahari having to pay a break fee.
    I don't think the Kalahari board will get the current offer past its shareholders- especially not Rio and ITOCHU.

    Stand by!
