Last week BMN announced Hanlong is still wants Etango. Since then BMN has gone up 30%. Today, a China media release reports Hanlong is proceeding with its takeover of SDL. Today SDL has gone into a trading halt regarding the takeover offer by Hanlong. Expect SDL to rise 10-20% on Wednesday.

I speculate that if China wants Etango - they only want it to incorporate it into Husab. This is because Etango is low grade and inadequate for China's Uranium needs. But it could extend Husab's life by 5-10 years by adding another pit to the project.
