Codicil is a soil enrichment product. When you add it to soil it acts like a fertilizer and things grow quickly with less problems than chemical fertilizers. However soil enhancers have many times the bulk and weight of chemical fertilizers making them very impractical for anything beyond local use. Its like Compost. It works better than chemical fertilizer but totally impractical if you cannot obtain it locally. Codicil cannot help with fertilizer problems that are 100S of miles a way. Drying and Shipping is a killer. You do not sprinkle it on ground you add several inches of it on top of soil and then turn it in to enrich the soil. You could extract the basic chemicals and sell them as bagged fertilizer but somehow I do not think this would be competitive. With large bulk Chemical companies.
