Where ‘if it’s not invented here’ rules absolutely in political and local investment philosophies.
That’s why, if Lynas wants to get on the international radar where it should be, it has to list in the US IMHO.
Unfortunately there’s our current total reliance on Lynas Malaysia - that is working and producing so admirably, but is constantly stymied by infuriating Malaysian politics and China’s influence there. This continues to be a stumbling block for the time being.
The current production hiatus has gone on too long without any scientific basis or explanation.
I’d like to see some questions asked of KL at the highest political level - both from Canberra and Tokyo.
