In terms of the superpit closing down, just be aware that it might be closer than 2015. NCM has admitted that the cash costs of mining there are way too high (over $800/oz, which - the way I read it - already makes it running at a loss with the hammering that the POG has taken recently) and may be looking to get out of their 50% holding of that asset. I'm sure someone on the NCM thread can flesh that out better for all. But I'd investigate that carefully before buying up in Kalgoorlie.
