I hear what you are saying but a lot of the malaise in the WA property market is at the peak of activity to this point in the resources sector and I don't believe that its only resources that drove up values but coupled with this a herd mentality amongst property investors that is now focussing on the Eastern States.
I believe that we are in a supercycle with the commodities but also believe that property values may not necessarily react positively with that until property investors no longer see value in the east and return to the West.
Now more so than ever anyone investing in Perth needs to do their homework and more so in the regional areas of WA as the big money has already been made there for the next few years.
