C'mon I brought a quarter acre,better situation in 2003 in Picadilly for $65K. I cant believe how poxy the rents still are. I'm getting more in perth yeah the yields not as good obviously but its at about 1/10th of the risk. Looks like my Little 3X1 in Lamington on (800m2) is probably worth about $360K/$380K...my purchase $182K in 2004 and sold for $240K in 2005.
Decent homes are suprisingly cheap for one accustomed to Pilbara pricing. They have probably risen 30-40% in 4-5 years. A bit dissapointing really. The dog boxes are mind-blowing with demand boosting their values to levels that simply cannot be sustained.Looks like pretty slim pickings really.
