CSS have retained some BFT broodstock, and my spidy sense tells me that if they can start to build an export market to Asia and really ramp up their production with their newly-branded Hiramasa Kingfish, they will then look to throw a bit more R&D back at BFT as a bit of a punt with some experience under their belt.

By the By, spawn rates weren't the problem from memory, it was just that they couldn't grow them beyond half a kilo in captivity. I'll double check that
