Somaliland have started selling oil blocks including many considered as Puntland real estate by Puntland.

Blocks 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24 would appear to be on Puntland territory.

Blocks SL 19 and SL 24 take in over half the nogal valley including Kalis 1 ( conoco block 28 ) and all of the land immediately west of and bordering Garowe.

Kalis 1 was a conoco discovery, said to be commercial, and probably the best chance to true up and oil find on a 2 of 4 hole budget.

But it's about hundred kilometers inside Somaliland.

Range shareholders paid Punty and Consort private for it, along with the rest of the nogal valley and the darhoor region further to the north including the blocks now being sold by Somaliland.

Just 1 week ago Asante UK purchased the first of the SL blocks up for offer.( block number(s) not available )

Mr Landau, how much will it cost to buy the Kalis end of the nogal valley and all of these other blocks back again ?

What if Somaliland sell 'em (kalis block in particular) or have already sold it to another entity ?

Did the riyale sanctioned oil block sales that started in May have anything to do with AOI drilling suspension in Late April?
