I dug through some old announcements because I wanted to know what Kalman West was all about. There wasn't a lot of drill there yet as far as I found out.
Syndicate Metals was of the opinion that the Kalman West soil geochemical signature is significantlylarger and more continuous than the soil geochemical signature associated with theKalman deposit. Thetwo main identified anomalies – thenorthern anomaly and thesouthern anomaly – have some similarities butalso have significant differences in their geochemical signatures, which Syndicated Metals believed reflects theirdifferent structural locations and proximity to the Overlander Granite. The signature of thenorthern anomaly suggested potential “Kalman-style” mineralisation by the presence of strongly elevated molybdenum as well as copper and gold anomalism. Thegeochemical signature of thesouthern anomaly suggested a copper and golddominant mineralisation with onlyminor molybdenum anomalism – astyle similar to the highergrade Overlander deposit located a further 2kmwest of Kalman West.
For the rest, I've put together a few excerpts that might be of interest. Does anyone know how many holes were drilled in Kalman West? PS. the nice photo below is only 6cm in width.
