My view is that we will have Smokey's mining right by July end at the latest. Because of the lead times on equipment we are fortunate in the fact that Lewins had the cash and the foresight to pre-order everything so that the company isn't hanging around waiting for deliveries. Three months and the projects paid for.......wahoooooo.
I think it's safe to say that the senior producers will be throwing JV offers at Lewins/PLA especially after the Kalplats discovery and Lewins himself admits that the banks are falling over themselves to get a slice. My guess is that it won't be to long before we start seeing a trickle of new deals coming through with perhaps six to eight (expl/devel) projects in total by 2010.
