I'll try and hang around to see if you are right .

What we have seen historically is with more use of machines that ,while hours of paid work decrease, .....the hourly rate increases .....the net effect of those two opposites is indicated by average living standards ...... we presently live like Kings and Queens of old because our living standars have improved so much in the industrialised world .

So what you are predicting .......... goes agaimnst the observed trend at present .
