Perhaps look at my posting history......... Pro Dutton, Pro No Vote, Pro Israel, Pro Ukraine, never voted ALP or Greens, have voted for Pauline (but shush, keep that quite), Pro Republican and Pro Trump
initially when he became President, .......
But somehow considering Trump is dangerously divisive for both the US and the world, I am now a LWNJ?
Wow, way for you to jump the Shark (no, I mean a literal shark, not Trump) and god (Protestant, evangelist white Christian god only please) forbid you can watch how someone acts/performs and change your mind about them.
I am anything but left wing, but like a significant number of what would be swing voters in the US (including my daughter who is living in Pennsylvania), the Trump honeymoon wore off and he sure ain't no statesman and in fact is an Emperor without clothes.
Maybe 'you' should look at numbers and you might realise why Trump is in trouble with non-compulsory voting.
Based on the below Table:
- Trump lost the popular vote to Hilary Clinton by 2.8 million (try and get your head around that);
- At Trumps reelection bid in 2022, there was a much bigger turnout (Trump is divisive and triggers his opponents);
- The bigger turnout resulted in an even bigger loss by Trump in the popular vote (i.e. he lost by 7 million plus);
- Yes the swing states count given its an Electoral College vote that decides, but the 2 elections he fought showed Trump was significantly less popular than Biden and Clinton.
Biden's age related deterioration in capacity was leading to loss of voter motivation.
This has changed with Harris and raw data strongly suggests Harris is going to be competitive against grandad Trump and plenty of Republicans are saying this (see Ted Cruz), or don't you read anything produced outside of of his sycophant circle?
