as to the last .....very impractical .....not ideal to be done this way but really little choice considering the late hour .....bloodletting within the party to choose a successor might be something you'd enjoy but just too damaging to be allowed and would waste tiume .
Besides ....she has the tiock of approval already from almost anyone that matters .....and the rate of money roilling in seals the issue .....I very much doubt anyone would even try to contest ....because it just isn't doable anymore .
If you think it's not the best way to choose a leader I'd agree with you .....but under the circumstances little choice .....Joe should've seen the writing on the wall a year back .
