this particular matter of emissions from domestic livestock is a perfect example of how so many issues regarding AGW are either outright lies or deliberate deceptions. The ONLY reason, repeat, ONLY reason domestic livestock have been identified as major contributors of greenhouse emissions has nothing to do with their stomachs, but everything to do with the carbon balance accounting rules. Under the rules adopted by Australia, only the carbon emissions produced by the livestock are counted, NOT the carbon inputs that are sequestered from the atmosphere by the fodder consumed by the animals or taken up by the soil as part of the complete production system. Very little logic is required to realise that the carbon emitted by the animals has to come from somewhere, obviously it's sequestered from the atmosphere to where it returns minus what is locked into the soil in the process, and what is locked into the animal itself which eventually will also return to the atmosphere. Now why aren't they telling the whole story?
