Thats a very succinct quote you posted particularly in relation to explorer developers. As buyers we always need to beware but also need to recognise that one size doesn't fit all.
Lachlan and Peter realise I'm sure that the time for overpromising is in the past so I'm inclined to think that DOA in relation to the Hidden Gem Opportunity at this point in time likely means Deals Only Aces.
Even if the MRE is a bit optimistic:
* its only reporting the tip of the iceberg from the exploration targets within 10 kms of the plant and absolutely nothing in the other ELS's that are more distant.
* the economic study only captures 70% of the ore in the MRE so a fair factor of safety.
* Freepoint who are experts in the trade have bought a royalty stream and a bunch of equity which gives me a lot of confidence that the MRE is as reliable as it can be.
Whilst all the things that can go wrong probably will. There are so many Hiden Gems that I'm pretty confident this might just be an Opportunity not to be missed.
