yes but they are pretty vague. here in wa we can use as much force as applicable but if someone gets killed they will be arrested for murder which imho is wrong. we should be able to use lethal force if the situation demands it. i for one do not want to ever be in this situation but i had an intruder a few days ago and had i had something in my hand would have done some damage.
the coppers always look to the victim as the provocateur first. my house my land my castle as has been settled in the high court.
generally the idea is that one must stay on ones property and not chase down the perp when he crosses the fence line.
