KAR receives Brent Crude price plus $1 - $2 because of the excellent Bauna light oil quality.
Brent is trading right now at $58.58, so KAR is likely getting around $60 USD,which is still bonza although off 10% from the bonanza price of $65 on Jan 21.
Producing 17,349 Barrels per day average in Dec from only 5 of 6 wells, means that this change in prices has reduced KAR's cash flow for the week marginally versus a $69 million whack in market cap.
On the closing date for Bauna.
At the AGM the close was repeatedly stated as by Mar 31, 2020. In the AGM presentation, there is a timeline graph that indicated Government approval by Feb 28, 2020 and Financial Close by Mar 31, 2020. If I was the ANP watching oil prices I might get off my butt and approve the deal sooner.
