The points you make are quite valid to a point. Remember though that start-up mining companies are spec. types and a considerable shareholding can be purchased with little outlay and this is the mindset of those willing to gamble on the penny dreadfuls. When they hit paydirt it's great but purchasing today is expensive relatively speaking to buy the same quantity of stock and the risks are greater $ wise.
I am still a KAR fan but having invested well into six figures was not prepared to risk my profits until the dust clears. The Browse operation is still high risk no matter what spin is put on it and Brazil/Peru at this stage are still pies in the sky.
We can convince ourselves this is not true and I hope it's not but I prefer to be safe and relatively sure considering the necessary outlay.
