Technically Kar is better off now after the IPO failure. We still have our cash in the bank for next year's Browse campaign, and we still own 100% of the SA assets.
Much better to keep the assets than to sell 30% in a fire sale.
The SA portfolio is worth more now than it was 2 weeks ago after the recent oil discovery at Maruja, it is only a matter of time.
