To me it’s mind blowing that markets are still largely discounting a potential major escalation in the ME.
Iran has threatened mass retaliation at any time, Hezbollah and Israel just had the fiercest firefight since 2006, Northern Israel is largely evacuated, Houthis are bombing oil tankers in the Red Sea and yet you’d think it was all peace love and mung beans over there.
Wonder what it’s going to take from here to move the needle.
