There is no offset account for this type of debt so hypothetically if their books show debt of $400m with cash in bank $550m and they will end-up paying 10.5% interest rates on those $400m which could be worth $42m in cash for no reason while cash in bank won't generate a pence due to interest rates going down.
The fuss is not cause by Divvy but it is caused by the dodgy deal nothing more or less or dumb person thought this is better way of doing. sacking CFO or CEO is way to clear the air or whoever decided to go this way. How would investor has confidence in this team if this is how they run their show? Look at DRR the dumb management paid premium to purchase royalty for lithium mine when they should be getting those at discount when lithium going bearish phase !!
