But we could have been paying that Bauna debt back quicker than required... we had extra cash... that would have reduced interest burden as per your requirements. Further, Using your argument no-one would take a holiday or buy a new car whilst they were paying off their home...every cent must go into reducing the debt... it doesn't work that way... only in an theoretical world. All aspects of the business have to be attended to and the board was conveniently ignoring the SH's whilst providing lip service with no intent to make good, because it would mean they missed their STI's.....If we were to buy another asset now, SH's would not see a div for the next five years. That would take the company to 25 years without returns to SH's....
