re. Bauna restart.
It can be very frustrating waiting for (hopefully positive) news.
I believe that maintenance started May 20th, with a planned/estimated duration of 3 weeks.
This would make the restart around June 10th +/-.
Based on past reporting (Bauna) I expect that they will report the restart approximately 1 week after the maintenance has been completed June 17th =/-.
It takes time to bring the system back online and to get to somewhere near full production, and to be sure that everything is working as it should.
Frustrating, but necessary when dealing with a complex (ageing) bit of kit.
It is also possible, if not probable, that they discover additional minor maintenance issues that they will (have to) fix during the shutdown.
There would be a time contingency in the plan for these types of issues, but it may take longer than planned if there are more than a few minor problems identified.
In other words, they won't announce "we restarted" (expected June 10th),
they will announce on June 17th(?) that "we restarted June 10th(?), and current production is X boepd, and expect production to reach Y boepd in the coming days.
