The thing about the Brazil assets KAR have acquired is they were going cheap at the bottom of the cycle, there were few if any other takers, but KAR did the math and found synergies that meant they were uniquely placed to bid and win (simplified version of history.) So, I don’t know about US assets nearer the top of the cycle than the bottom, which if they are any use to anyone, will attract the attention of all and sundry…. ? On the other hand, branching out to perceived sovereign riskless jurisdictions makes sense, so we’ll see… Samba Boyz just sneaking past the Swisse Misses overnight - got to be worth a positive day for the SP….
