I have heard Karoon is in talks for another Petrobras field. These are potentially separate rather than both together. Seems production is significant but I haven’t done much research.
Petrobras received three non-binding proposals for the divestment of Albacora and Albacora Leste. The offers were made by large consortia, as anticipated by PetróleoHoje . The assets are disputed by the groups Enauta / 3R Petroleum / Talos Energia / EIG Global Energy Partners - Harbor Energy, PetroRio / Cobra, and Karoon. The Australian company entered alone, but negotiates a partnership with a partner kept confidential.
