While I am bullish on Karoon (at last), I would be less certain OPEC has its act together. Talk is cheap. The chances of everyone in OPEC agreeing on quotas and then abiding by them is low. Countries may agree to cap output to "talk the market up", but if Libya and Nigeria can increase output to nearer capacity do you really think they would not do so? A collapse in Venezuela may be our best bet. If the oil price actually goes to $US70 US shale producers would start increasing output again anyway.
