Now for the interesting part. Troy reports rainfall on p. 15 of the AGM presentation for June with nearly 450mm.
Same for 2015 in an earlier presentation.

We had one of the strongest el nino effects in 2015 which has influence on rainfall, but normally not in Guyana. 2016 was the la nina effect, altering precipitation too.

We saw 50% higher rainfall than normal in 2015 and 2016 June. Will rainfall normalize in future years?
