    ---I am afraid that there is a bit of string stretching going on mateys. No one has yet tied in the union corruption with the executive goverment.----

    The ALP is the political arm of the trade union movement, as Sinn Fein is the political wing of the IRA. They are parts of the same body.

    As for the executive government being involved, keep an eye on the news.

    This government should have launched a Royal Commission into the union movement years ago; they haven't which is probably a good thing as it would have had a tame Commissioner. I expect Tony Abbott will do so and do so in his first term. The ALP may well be handicapped for a decade.
