Here's an extract of an early draft of Higgsy's book, as revealed in the Weekend Aus:
"Honestly, I feel like a B-grade Grace Tame.She exists outside and beyond the political bubble. Court case closed, awarded and revered. Here I am in the mud with the pigs - fighting for control of the Daily news cycle. Throwing mud: A WhatsApp here, a voucemail there, a drop to Sam."
There's many more excepts in Janet Albrechstens article demonstrating just what a manipulator Higgsey was in the sordid scandal with media and political considerations far outweighing police and the justice system importance. She turned a dubious rape allegation into a political-media circus.
As Janet notes, little wonder Grace Tame deleted her Instagram post calling Higgsey a "national hero" and "a warrior" and "my friend". When you've lost Tame you've lost any right to be seen as a role model for women.
