the expats are hired offshore...highly skilled with the certifications to international standards......
the locals for the most are the locally trained semi-skilled
workers..employed from within their own country....
they would have varying wages ...not all the same.....depending what work skill level they have achieved.....
sure they do need a wage top up considering the industry they are working in....but to date .....we have not been told ....whether they already work for higher than normal wages in that country......
i'm quite sure their wages are already well above shop assistants ,farm labourers and goat herders.....
